GENERAL MEMBERSHIP 

$200 annually

General Membership is open to any person or related persons with property or with a business interest in the Mount Washington Valley who supports the mission statement of the Mt. Washington Valley Association for Responsible Vacation Rentals. General Members may serve as committee members, board members, or officers. General Members receive all member services and may vote on Association matters and to elect board members and officers.

General membership must be renewed annually in order to maintain member benefits.

Benefits:
As a member, the Association will:

  • Advocate on your behalf for the preservation of property rights and for the legal protection of short-term rentals in the Mt. Washington Valley region.

  • Promote and introduce fair and equitable regulations that provide owners a right to share their home in a manner that best meets their personal needs and the needs of the community at large.

  • Provide Association updates and current information pertaining to the activities of the Association via a periodic newsletter, member portal, and private members-only meetings.

  • In response to Board-approved matters, provide legal education from licensed NH lawyers and assist individual owners pay for legal assistance when their actions align with those of the Association.

  • The Association does not provide specific legal advice to individual members but resources to the overall member community.


TRADE MEMBERSHIP

$50.00 annually

Trade Memberships offer a non-voting membership option to any person or business owner that performs services that benefit property owners in the Mount Washington Valley who support the mission statement of the Mt. Washington Valley Association for Responsible Vacation Rentals. Trade Members may serve as committee members but not board members or officers.

Trade membership must be renewed annually in order to maintain member benefits.

Benefits:

  • The Association will share updates and current information pertaining to the activities of the Association via a periodic newsletter.

  • Your voice will be heard! Your participation on committees and in group discussions will generate support in the community to preserve and regulate short term rentals.


Mt. Washington Valley Association for Responsible Vacation Rentals (MWVARVR) is a New Hampshire member-based nonprofit corporation in the process of applying for tax-exempt status under IRS tax code 501(c)(6).  Contributions made to MWVARVR are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes; however, they may be tax deductible under other provisions of the Internal Revenue Code.
